Life Coaching In Hobart Tasmania (updated March 2026):
Please note: I currently offer my coaching service – FREE OF CHARGE – to highly motivated Tasmanian people as a community service (conditions apply).
What do I do, and how do I coach?
“I help people identify their strengths, build confidence & find new ways to live & love their lives by engaging in transformational life changing conversations.”
Why work with me?
I live what I coach. What does that mean? It means I walk the talk. My life is one of constant change. I take risks. I trust in life. I open myself up to opportunities – and I create them. This gives me a depth of understanding and experience… that only comes from experience.
I am a Professional Coach – an Accredited and Certified Professional Coach. I trained and studied with the International Coach Academy (ICA) in their Advanced Coach Training Program. You can see my qualifications right here.
Further to that training, I was also credentialed with/by the International Coach Federation (ICF). What does this credential mean? It means that my knowledge and skills have been tested and approved by an independent coaching body – independent of my coaching school accreditation and training.
Prior to my coaching studies, I have also successfully completed an Associate Diploma of Social Science. This was a course of study that had alignment and synergy to my coaching skills and adds further depth to my coaching skills and approaches working with and for people.
After the successful completion of my coaching studies, and then immediately being credentialed by an independent coaching body, I deliberately set a course to be totally independent of any coaching body or organisation.
Why did I do this?
Because my coaching is independent of any structure or governing body.
That means I am professional and accountable – to my clients – not an affiliation to anybody else to ‘tick a box’ basically.
There are no conflicts of interest here – my clients are what matters to me. I answer to them.
I coach personally in Hobart Tasmania (based in Hobart), and via telephone all around the world. In fact I have coached people from the USA, UK, Greece, Italy, India, Singapore and Germany.
These days I am primarily focused on supporting Tasmanians… particularly at this time with the cost of living crisis and the challenges that Tasmanians will continue to face.
People need an edge right now and they need perspective. The game has changed. Life has changed. New approaches are required. In simple speak, life as we know it is being disrupted.
I am passionate not only about living and creating my life, I am also focused on helping others live their lives more fully and with more awareness. (click this link to find out what my clients say about their experiences with me right here)
Life coaching is a powerful and supportive way that can help you improve your life and move you closer towards living the life that you want to live.
Coaching can also help you identify those blind spots in your life – things that you are not aware of that might be creating problems for you and those around you.
Life coaching can also help you identify limiting or false beliefs that hold you back from experiencing a better life and better relationships.
And coaching with me can help you look at your life in different ways, to further identify your strengths and your passions.
Unlike a lot of life coaches who charge around and upwards of $150 to $250 an hour (and many of these coaches are not accredited or credentialed [see my article about this right here] with the accredited coaching schools or the coaching credential organisations like I am) for a life coaching session, I DO NOT SEEK COACHING FEES. I coach because I think it’s an important service to share with people who want to improve their lives without money attached to any outcomes.
What I do expect however is for you to pay forward the value you received from our coaching together to somebody else.
What does this mean? Value needs to be demonstrated and it needs to be acknowledged. How is it acknowledged? It is acknowledged by helping others.
‘Free’ anything is often not valued in life.
And this is why I ask my clients to – pay it forward to someone else.
I believe value is something the client determines – not the coach.
My clients pay it forward to others in amounts that they think my services are worth to them based on their coaching journey and results as they help others.
So what is my coaching reward? It is seeing real results working and playing with committed people who are passionate and inspired to improve their lives.
To be clear here, I provide a professional service, and as such, I do not accept all clients.
I am investing my time here in you as much as you are investing in me. We both need to be present, engaged, accountable and committed – and fully switched on – here for coaching to work well.
I also want to see as many people experience competent coaching – to improve their lives without obstacles or impediments such as high end coaching fees or salesy pitches from some coaches who are a little too focused on themselves and not the client or the service they are offering.
For me, coaching is not a business – it is a relationship, a lifestyle choice, and a service I think should be shared with those ready to move forward in their lives.
